Why do we love Recork?

We love its sustainability. The product itself comes from Portugal and the cork forests actively reverse (yes reverse!!) global warming. Recork uses a mixture of wastage cork from the bottle stopper production process (which make wine tops) and early harvest cork that is not suitable for bottle stoppers. Plant based oil is then used to change the colour of the cork floor. Huscroft Flooring then finishes the cork onsite with a (pretty much) invisible coat, this protects against scratches and wear.
It has a honeycomb structure which means it provides thermal insulation. The insulation doesn't stop there: it is also an acoustic insulator, creating a peaceful environment. It is also none slip, providing ideal walking comfort. Put simply by us; cork is suited to us- it compliments our senses and transforms our homes to that of serenity and calm.
