We are often asked whether or not scratches will appear because we have our beloved pets feet to consider. We can offer advice to combat this and often advise that a layer of lacquer is placed on top of your wood floor to prevent scratching as much as possible. An alternative to wood floor would be LVT which can be somewhat more robust.
