What is the difference between a brushed, tumbled and smoked piece of your bespoke engineered wood flooring?

A brushed finish presents a softer feel. Generally used for modern, chic spaces.

A tumbled piece of floor is usually of prime or rustic grade. It has a number of unique dents and marks giving it an aged, elegant look, feel and finish. These floors ooze confidence and sophistication due to their rustic charm. You do not need to be concerned about the wear and tear of this historic floor as it all adds to its character!

A smoked effect is timeless and presents a beautifully patterned, usually in a prime or rustic grade. This time it's the colours that emphasise the woods natural markings. The chemical reaction achieved in the factory creates some of our most beautiful projects especially in smoked brown flooring.
